Hi! I'm Megan Myers
My Background
My Work History
I was born and raised in Southern California. I received a Bachelors Degree in Art History from Boston University in 2009. After graduating,
I moved to NYC for a couple of years. I moved to San Francisco in
2011 to go back to school for Graphic Design and graduated from
the Academy of Art in 2014.
I've worked as a Graphic Designer since 2014 and have worked on everything from e-mail design to hand lettering and photo art direction. I started off at ModCloth, a women's fashion e-commerce brand, in 2014 right out of school. As a Junior Designer, I was able to touch all parts of brand and marketing design, but focused mainly on affiliate marketing and ads. I transitioned to the lead email designer, working closely with the copy, email and merchandising teams. After 2.5 years at ModCloth, I decided to focus on freelance design for clients like Ritual Coffee Roasters, Title IX, and took time to pursue my own creative endeavors. I realized that I missed working with other creative folks and went to work as a Graphic Designer at ThirdLove, focusing exclusively on email design. When an opening became available back at ModCloth, I decided to rejoin the team as an email designer and social content art director in 2018. I am now responsible for email design, art direction for all blog and social content, and promotions.
